China Bistro in Omaha

This place is absolutely awful! We ordered spicy and they gave us sweet and sour! When asked to correct, the two women refused to fix it and when asked for a manager they replied none, not any day of the week apparently because I asked. The ladies continued to speak a different language and laugh as continuing to say they would not fix it. I agree with the I would not recommend this even for my dog. Stay away is my suggestion. They also advertise delivery which they do mot do and should be sued for false advertisement.

Well mark this one off the list. I should have turned around as soon as I opened the door. The smell of old grease and sewage turned my stomach. You plumbers know what I am talking about. I pressed on to give them a chance. I ordered chicken lo mein and crab rangoons. It came out BLAND and with very little chicken, they used spaghetti noodles and not lo mein noodles. I am all for saving a buck but the restaurant should use what they advertise. It was a dry dish. I could have put Ragoo on it and it would have been better. There was no sauce on the noodles they were still white and the crab rangoons was reheated or should I say re dipped in grease to warm up. The cheese inside was brown..... NASTY. I paid $15 for something that I wouldn't give my dog. I will not be revisiting this place again. Word of warning, believe the reviews. I didn't and now I have just wasted money and the way my gut is rumbling.....I will be spending the rest of the evening running to the bathroom. NASTY.

I tried this place a couple of times, since everyone can have an off day, but it never was any better. The food is pretty bad. No real flavor, greasy and just unappealing. Delivery was really slow and the food was lukewarm when we got it both times, so I tried picking up in their drive-thru. The speed of course was better, but the food was still a big miss for me.

Super fast! We are talking order to plate 5 minutes! Good pricing and quiet. Also has drive thru!

Love their food. Very popular for delivery and pick up. Food is delicious. Small family business so the kind of thing I like to spend money on and support local business.

The food was not fresh my sweat sour shrimp was Hard and greasy. My other order the sweet-and-sour chicken was hardIt didn’t taste very pleasant at all

Only place I go to get Chinese and I only ever get beef fried rice. Not a huge fan of China food but I LOVE their beef fried rice

Good recipes bad cook. Half of the time the meat is overcooked and it's to hard to bite into.

Fair prices and excellent service. Some of the best take out food in town. Plus they deliver to the 68138 and 68137 area codes

I really love this place. I never have an issue and they always get my order right. I usually have a big order too and it's always correct and tastes great. The staff is always very pleasant. I really appreciate the great customer service:) Five Stars:)

Service was awful! Very unfriendly, never a thank you, come again. Asked for a take out box...it was tossed on the counter. Employees either sitting around on their phones or fighting with each other in their native language. Crab rangoon was good. Rest ok. Would never go back or recommend to others.

Sister ordered here, and a bunch of the family has been for a few years. In order to get delivery you have to spend over $10, then a $3 delivery charge which isn't bad at all. But she ordered a side for $2, and ended up paying $8 because they messed it up! So a total of $20 for ONE person!! Then when he delivered she said no that's not what I ordered, he said "just pay for those because I do not want to go back then come back" honestly so unprofessional, she had called after that and they all just laughed and hung up. So my cousin gave them another try and ordered and said it'll be there in 15 minutes, an hour goes by he calls figuring they may be behind and he said "oh no you canceled" ?! Lucky we didn't use a card these people have gotten worst and worst and very rude now and basically jip you. Lost a bunch of loyal customers. Wouldn't even give it one star if we had the choice.

I had been a loyal customer but after receiving a poor quality meal the management did nothing. I think that is unacceptable customer service. I would not recommend eating at a place that does this to anyone.

Great food for the money you spend. Nice that they have a drive thru especially when it's raining or snowing. Wait times aren't bad. No good trying to call in orders though as no one speaks English well enough to communicate via phone. Overall an ok local spot.

This is by far the worst Chinese food i ever had in Nebraska. Sweet and sour chicken shrimp and pork it was inch of dough over the meat cut it open tiny peace of meats plus all the grease that was soaked in the dough. Sweet and sour sauce very running. Millard people if you think this place is good you have never experienced good Chinese food alot of good Chinese food in omaha.

Been going to this restaurant for over 15 years and have yet to find a better peanut butter chicken. Very friendly staff and food is always made fresh and hot.

Egg foo yong is great. Pork fried rice, too. Really good prices. Portions are very generous. All cooked fresh so a little wait, but worth having it hot and fresh. Staff is so nice.

Too many haters on this restaurant - I eat here once a week if not more and love the value. The best answer is pork fried rice.

Some of the worst Chinese food I've had. Order Mongolian beef. And it literally taste like fish. Chicken fried rice is so plan. Only thing good out of this 30 dollar meal was the egg rolls

This is a small, family-run restaurant. good food, fair pricing. their orange chicken and their cashew chicken are good.

Food: not the greatest quality. The "crab" Rangoon barely had any filling, they were burnt. All the food had this odd taste in it, almost like the grease was old. Pricing: fair pricing for quantity of food. No complaints there.Customer Service: they were ok while talking to me. No problems there. However, I heard profanity and some messing around while making my food. Not exactly the most professional.Speed: it was ok for a drive through. Not really fast but I wouldn't expect it to be.Environment: looks run down. The drive thru has a Taco Bell counter on it. Funny

Always friendly staff, great food and i love the decor...if you miss what a 1990's taco bell looks like. I always go inside...it's an open kitchen so you can watch your food being made. I am always greeted when I walk in and a pleasant "thank you, come again" when I leave. Worth checking it out, it's been here long enough so they must be doing something right.

Portion size is huge. Had it for 2 dinners. Great tasting and flavorful. Could use more help in kitchen to speed up cooking time.

I used to enjoy eating at China Bistro but that was about 3 years ago. I don't know what happened but the quality of food just isn't what it used to be.The pricing isn't too bad but it's a little high compared to a couple other places in the area. It really annoys me that if you dine in you can get soup for free but if you order take out it's "no soup for you" (* they may have quit giving out free soup since I last ate there).Also, don't expect a free fortune cookie or a free soda refill. Finally, they really, really need to do something about the men's room. It's disgusting. I don't know if it's clean or not because I generally can't stand to go into it, it smells and just looks nasty.I remember when they first opened and I was excited about having a decent Chinese place in the neighborhood. I just wish they could go back to how they used to be.

I have been going to this place for years, always fast service and great food.

Love their Chicken Friend Rice, Egg Drop Soup and Crispy Pot Stickers. The young girl at the drive thru window however is not very friendly but in her defense it appears she does not understand English real well or she is just very shy but the food is great. Compared to BoBo China in my opinion.

The lady I’m guessing she’s an owner... she can’t follow directions I asked for chicken and she gave me steak then didn’t want to change it... otherwise their food is good but the soup is weird it gets hard immediately and I’ve never experienced this in my life

Pretty old looking inside and out. Food is mediocre, but about what I expected from the buildings appearance. The fried rice is simple. I wouldn't ever seek this place out to eat, but we stopped while at Jiffy lube. The hot and sour soup is pretty thick but had decent flavor.

I went there with my family. I love the decoration.Very good quality of food and the service is good.

By far the best Szewan beef in town and sesame chicken is great, too. I'm never disappointed!

The lo mein taste like soy sauce and canned mushrooms the noodles went lo mein it was just spaghetti with 3 pieces of shrimp yukkkkkkkkk

Food was great. Service was adequate. The price is very reasonable for the amount of food you get. I have received several fortune cookies every time I have visited. I will definitely be going back regardless of the service.

Overpriced and mediocre. Hot and Soup soup was so think it was more like gravy.

Love this place. Been going for 15 years. Never found a better Chinese place anywhere in US. Hope it stays open til I die. I know a little over board but I am being honest.
